  The Staff of this DMV office is great. But the Asian guy who was taking driving behind the wheel test was the rascist and like animal. When he say turn left he say it like this ta let. Ta lait Go estlait. He make me fail because I request can you please talk little but louder because I don't know what you saying.

  For the level of volume here, it moves quickly. And everyone was very nice to me. I didn't encounter anyone rude in the least. Now if you're stupid, loud, aggressive, or don't do your research and bring the proper documents, of course they're going to be rude. The DMV has a website and a hotline. Be a functional human being and do your best to be prepared beforehand, and I think you'll have a fine experience. It's not gonna be FUN or amazing, but nothing truly painful here. Try going to the one in Las Vegas, with a 2 hour MINIMUM wait for any tiny thing, and you'll see what a bad DMV looks like.

  THE WORST DMV OFFICE IN OAKLAND!! If I could give it a -0 rating I would. I went there today to obtain lien documents the first line I stood in for 45 minutes the lazy incompetent idiot scribbles on a posted note for me to hand to her equally lazy and incompetent coworker which was another line for 45 minutes! So the 2nd idiot says to me after I made a comment that her co-worker "scribbled" a Post-It note to hand to her..." That's not scribble!" Who cares?! It's all subjective interpretation. So she begrudgingly gets up and pretends to shuffle some paperwork even ask her coworkers where the papers are supposedly located after a few minutes she says to me that her coworker tells her is all online!? SERIOUSLY?! I was actually in the other DMV office on Claremont and THEY had the paperwork I need it but they just did not have enough so they directed me to try the office over at the Coliseum. Your tax dollars at work people. I can't wait until these jobs are phased out and replaced with something like an automated kiosk with zero idiots that are milking the system.

  We can't blame them for the number of people coming in for their service, and the line moves fairly quickly. Most of the staffs were decently polite. I had an appointment for my written exam, and I was in and out of the DMV office within less than 2 hours.
