  DO NOT TAKE BART!!! The BART POLICE brutalize, and in some cases, kill people (even if you are handcuffed, on the ground). It is a dangerous form of transportation!

  Great way to zip across the bay in less than twelve minutes. Beats traffic any time of day. Save money on taxi ride without stuck in traffic miss your flight situation. Some station restroom are still close since 9/11. Now people are peeing on trains, escalator, and platform. Creates more filth then what its intended for. Dependable, but still have things to work out. PA speakers too loud, ticket machine (jammed), fare gate closes too fast hurts hip if not fast enough.

  Worst public transit system in the world. Trains are never on schedule, stations are filthy, trains are unmaintained, employees are rude and often time just straight out offensive. BART has absolutely not a care in the world for passengers. Stations are completely uncontrolled and just a couple months ago over 50 passengers were robbed in broad daylight after a bunch of youths essentially hijacked a train at an island station. On the average day panhandlers harass passengers for money and jeopardize passenger safety by doing back flips on a crowded train for their "dance routine". The only thing BART actually does well is getting in the way of privatisation and the well being of the Bay Area. Total disgrace.
